Perforated E 32/32/6

Stenrix™ stone perforated panels is made with a 2-layer perforation structure, which traps and diffracts sound in the holes. The sound that passes through the perforation is further absorbed by an acoustic substrate such as fibreglass or mineral wool, which reduces reverberation in the room. The perforation comes in many sizes ranging from 1mm to 25mm. Smaller holes are better at attenuating low frequency sounds, whereas larger holes are better at reducing high frequency sounds.

Sound Absorption

Stenrix™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Large green monstera leaves and small fern leaves are arranged on a light, textured square tile background, creating a minimalist and natural flat lay composition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stenrix™ Perforated E 32/32/6 is a stone acoustic panel with a linear perforation pattern where holes of 6 mm diameter are spaced 32 mm apart in both directions. The “E” stands for linear hole arrangement, which contributes to consistent acoustic performance across large surfaces.

The panel’s two-layer perforation structure traps and diffracts sound as it enters the holes. Once the sound passes through, it is absorbed by an acoustic substrate such as fibreglass or mineral wool behind the panel, reducing reverberation and echo in interior spaces.

These panels are ideal for walls and ceilings in a variety of environments such as offices, auditoriums, classrooms, libraries, and commercial interiors, where controlling noise and reverberation enhances comfort and speech clarity.

Yes — Stenrix™ perforated panels are manufactured from eco-friendly recyclable materials and designed to minimize environmental impact while delivering effective acoustic performance.

Yes — they’re tested according to ISO 354 acoustic standards, which measure sound absorption in a reverberation room setup. This means they have verified performance in reducing reverberation time when paired with suitable backing material.
