Frequently Asked Questions

Stenrix™ panels add both style and acoustic comfort to homes. They help reduce echoes and improve sound quality in living rooms, home theatres, bedrooms, media rooms, and other residential spaces. Using grooved, perforated or micro-perforated wood panels with acoustic backing transforms regular rooms into comfortable, acoustically tuned living areas.

Stenrix™ offers a variety of wood panels for residences — including grooved wood panels, perforated or micro-perforated wood panels, and microgrooved wood panels. These options let homeowners select a style based on the balance they want between acoustic performance and visual design.

For high-performance spaces such as home theatres or audio rooms, Stenrix™ panels reduce sound reflections and reverberation. For example, in real residential installations, panels were used to meet acoustic specifications including sound isolation and target reverberation times. The panels trap and diffuse sound with grooves or perforations, while a backing acoustic substrate absorbs residual sound energy.

Yes. Stenrix™ panels are ideal not just for specialized rooms, but for regular living spaces too. Installing stone panels with acoustic treatment can reduce echo, dampen noise, and create a calmer and quieter home environment — improving comfort and privacy for residents.

Absolutely. Stenrix™ stone panels combine acoustic function with architectural design. Panels come with quality stone veneer finishes and precise joinery so they integrate neatly with interior design. This makes them a good choice for homeowners who want both a polished look and effective acoustic control.
